Warrant service results in new charge for Princeton man. 
On March 18, 2017, at 12:21 a.m. Deputies with the Gibson County Sheriff’s Office and an Officer with the Oakland City Police Department went to a residence in the 10000 block of State Road 57 to serve a warrant on 21 year old Michael W. French for failure to return to lawful detention. Upon arriving Mr. French was taken into custody and found on his person was an instrument that was used to help ingest illegal drugs. Deputy U.B. Smith placed Mr. French into custody and transported him to the Gibson County Jail. At the Gibson County Jail Mr. French was without bond on the Failure To Return To Lawful Detention warrant and now faces and additional charge of Possession of Paraphernalia with a Prior Conviction.
All Criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
