Deputies arrest David Graham for kidnapping and false imprisonment

SUMMARY:
On Wednesday, March 15, 2017, at about 11:00 p.m., deputies from the Morongo Basin Station responded to a report of a kidnapping/false imprisonment in the 56000 block of Sunnyslope Drive, in the town of Yucca Valley. The victim told deputies she met David Graham on Sunday, March 12, 2017. For approximately three days, Graham held the victim in his vehicle, against her will. Graham used metal flashlights to beat the victim, pointed a firearm at her, and threatened to kill her if she tried to escape. The victim eventually escaped the vehicle and ran to a residence to call 911. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of her injuries.
On Thursday, March 16, 2017, at approximately 2:15 a.m., Deputy Adrian Garcia located Graham, in his vehicle, near the intersection of Highway 62, and Kickapoo Trail, in Yucca Valley. During a search of the vehicle Garcia located an airsoft pistol, which was used during the incident. Graham was arrested and booked at the Morongo Basin Jail. He is currently being held on a $250,000 bail.
