The Newark Police Department is releasing information about recent crime and police activity that has occurred within our community. 
March 14th
0916 Hours: Officer Mapes contacted and arrested a 32 year old Newark female while conducting a probation search at the EZ-8 Motel, 5555 Cedar Court. The suspect was booked into the Fremont Jail.
1302 Hours: Officer Allum investigated a non-injury auto accident on the 37300 block of Ash Street.
1322 Hours: Officer Allum investigated a hit and run accident at Isla Restaurant, 5720 Mowry School Road.
1421 Hours: Detective Bloom contacted and arrested a 37 year old Fremont male on his outstanding warrant. The suspect was booked into the Fremont Jail.
2018 Hours: Officer Geser investigated a non-injury traffic collision involving a vehicle that struck a tree near the intersection of Lake Boulevard and Channel Drive.
