The Santee Sheriff's Station wants your help in identifying and locating a man who broke into a car and stole numerous items.
It happened on February 1st between 2:20 a.m. and 3:10 a.m. in the parking lot of the 24 Hour Fitness located in the 9900 block of Mission Gorge Road in Santee.
The suspect broke the car's rear window and stole two wallets containing about $1,000. Also stolen were a new pair of Nike tennis shoes, a Galaxy S6 cell phone and a Padres duffle bag.
A short time later, the suspect was caught on surveillance photos trying to use a stolen debit card at an ATM located in the 300 block of N. Magnolia Avenue in El Cajon.
The suspect is described as a black man between 30 and 40 years old with a muscular build.
