The main brunt of today’s winter storm should be diminishing significantly during the afternoon hours. The Blizzard Warning has been downgraded to a Winter Storm Warning with final snow accumulations of 4 to 8 inches.
Please limit travel unless necessary as Township plowing operations are ongoing to clear the roadways.
As an update to the power outage in the Colonial Gardens section, power was restored by 11 a.m. There are no other outages in the Township at this time.
Be safe while clearing your sidewalks as surfaces will be icy due to the sleet accumulation. Refreezing will occur overnight so use caution while driving or walking later tonight into tomorrow morning.
