Good Evening. This is the Bridgeport Emergency Operation. The City of Bridgeport has declared a snow emergency, which had gone into effect on Sunday in anticipation for tomorrow's storm. We are asking resident not to park on any designated snow emergency streets and to park their vehicles on the EVEN side of the street for all other roadways until further notice. The Bridgeport Police are enforcing this currently with a ticket and/or tow. In addition, all City Services such as recycling, sanitation, and the transfer station will be suspended and closed tomorrow. This includes City Hall. Home and business owners should utilize our Bridgeport 3-1-1 App, contact the Emergency Operations Center at 203-579-3829 or visit our city's website to report or to find out more about storm related information.
