BLIZZARD WARNING

The National Weather Service has issued a Blizzard Warning from midnight tonight to midnight Tuesday night.

Snow will move into the area overnight tonight and continue through Tuesday afternoon. Total snow accumulation is expected to be 10-14 inches with locally higher amounts of 18-24 inches possible. Snowfall rates of 1-3 inches per hour are possible. White out conditions are possible for Tuesday morning.

Winds will be 15-25 MPH with gusts up to 40 MPH. This will cause blowing and drifting snow.

Temperatures will remain around 30 degrees.

Minor to moderate tidal flooding is possible with high tide cycles on Tuesday.

The Wyckoff Office of Emergency Management, Wyckoff Police, and the Bergen County Office of Emergency Management will continue to monitor this situation.

GARBAGE COLLECTION CANCELLED TUESDAY, MARCH 14, 2017

There will be NO curbside collection of garbage and trash on Tuesday, March 14 due to the snow storm. On Wednesday, March 15, garbage and trash will be collected from those homes regularly scheduled for Tuesday, as well as from homes regularly scheduled for the Wednesday collection.

Wednesday, March 15 garbage collection is currently scheduled to be collected. However, if there is a change, the change will be posted and eblasted by 6:00 pm Tuesday, March 14.

RECYCLING COLLECTION CANCELLED TUESDAY, MARCH 14, 2017

Due to the snow storm, Tuesday's recycling collection will be cancelled, and the Tuesday March 14, 2017 Recycling Collection will be collected on Thursday, March 16, 2017.

Since recyclables are not perishable garbage, residents may also retain their recyclables until the next Tuesday, March 21, 2017,

THE RECYCLING/CONSERVATION CENTER ON WEST MAIN STREET WILL BE CLOSED TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY DUE TO THE SNOW STORM.

At this point, the Township plans to open the Recycling/Conservation Center on Thursday, March 16, 2017 for residents who wish to bring their recyclables to the Center.
