A little advance warning for potential of a Nor'easter bringing significant snow overnight Monday thru Wednesday am.
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for overnight Monday through Wednesday morning. Still early, but there is the potential for 8-12" inches of snowfall forecast.
Winter Storm Watch for much of the region Monday night and Tuesday
Hazards:
Snow: Accumulating snow is likely across much of the region. At this point, the highest risk for accumulating snow, enough to cause major impacts, is along and northwest of the Interstate 95 corridor. A Winter Storm Watch now includes eastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey (except Cape May County and the coastal strip of Atlantic and Ocean Counties), northern Delaware and extreme northeastern Maryland.

Confidence in snow amounts: Low to Medium
Coastal Flooding: There is a chance for widespread minor coastal flooding along with locally moderate coastal flooding in Delaware and New Jersey. The greatest risk is with the high tide cycle on Tuesday morning/mid day. Confidence: Medium
Strong Winds: There is a chance for strong winds gusting 40 to 50 mph primarily near and at the coast. Confidence: Medium
Timing:
Precipitation is expected to arrive Monday evening. The heaviest precipitation and strongest winds are expected to occur from late Monday night into Tuesday. Precipitation is expected to taper off Tuesday night into Wednesday.
