Winter Weather Advisory until 02:00PM

...SNOW CONTINUES TO MOVE THROUGH THE REGION THIS AFTERNOON... .Low pressure over central Virginia will strengthen as it moves eastward and off the Delmarva coast this afternoon. ...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 2 PM EST THIS AFTERNOON...

* LOCATIONS...The Lehigh Valley and parts of southeastern Pennsylvania eastward into parts of northern and central New Jersey.

* HAZARD TYPE...Snow.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...3 to 5 inches.

* TIMING...Snow will then taper off from west to east around lunchtime, and light additional accumulations are possible into early afternoon. Scattered snow showers and localized snow squalls are expected later this afternoon and evening.

* IMPACTS...The heavy snow will create snow covered roads and produce scattered power outages.

* WINDS...Northwest around 10 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.

* TEMPERATURES...In the lower 30s.

* VISIBILITY...Reduced to one-half mile or less at times.

* AFFECTED AREAS: HUNTERDON ... MORRIS ... SOMERSET ... WARREN
