Domestic Violence/Burglary Arrest

(Etowah County, Alabama) A Gadsden man has been arrested for domestic violence and burglary, according to Sheriff Todd Entrekin.

“Brett Tyler Wren, 33, of Gadsden, is charged with one count of second degree burglary, a felony, and one count of third degree domestic violence, a misdemeanor,” investigator Brandi Fuller said.

Wren allegedly gained entry into the female victim’s home through the back door. He then proceeded to grab the victim by her face, made threats to harm her and refused to leave. The incident occurred on March 6th, on Alford Bend Road.

Wren is being detained in the Etowah County Detention Center on $26,000 bond. As a condition of the bond Wren is not allowed any contact with the victim.
