Plymouth Township Community Alert: Due to high winds there are several power lines and trees down throughout the township resulting in power outages throughout many parts of Plymouth Township.

We are asking residents to use caution when throughout the township. We are also asking residents to stay away from metal fences, structures and other areas that are close to power lines at this time. The Plymouth township fire department and police department are working to secure the areas affected. Detroit Edison is also responding to the township as well.

The high winds are expected to continue until approximately 10 PM tonight.
