Theft of Vehicle Arrest 
(Etowah County, Alabama) An Altoona man has been arrested in connection to theft of a vehicle, according to Sheriff Todd Entrekin.
“Jamie Wayne Clayton, 42, of Altoona, is charged with one count of first degree theft of property (vehicle), which is a felony,” Lt. Robin Grant said.
Clayton allegedly stole a 1993 Chevrolet Cheyenne from a residence located on Dee Nix Road, Altoona. Remnants of the truck were found at Clayton’s residence, a short distance away from where the vehicle was stolen.
Clayton was booked into the Etowah County Detention Center and later released on $5,000 bond.
