Chemical Endangerment Arrest (2) 
(Etowah County, Alabama) An Attalla woman has been arrested in connection to chemical endangerment of a child, according to Sheriff Todd Entrekin.
“Crystal Leann Russell, 26, of Attalla, is charged with one count of chemical endangerment of a child, which is a felony,” investigator Brandi Fuller said.
She tested positive for opiates, amphetamines and oxycodone while pregnant.
Russell is being detained in the Etowah County Detention Center on $10,000 cash bond. Conditions of her bond include the completion of a drug treatment program. She will be monitored by Etowah County Community Corrections.
The Etowah County Department of Human Resources (DHR) is also involved with this case.
