Davis Man Arrested on Suspicion of Homicide 
On March 3rd, 2017, at approximately 9:00 a.m., Davis Police officers responded to the Pacifico Cooperative Community located at 1752 Drew Circle in Davis after a deceased female in her 30’s was located inside her room. Based on initial observations, the responding officers quickly considered the death and attendant circumstances to be suspicious in nature, warranting a homicide investigation.
Detectives and crime scene personnel were called out to the scene, along with the Yolo County Coroner's Office. The investigation is still active. 52 year old Davis resident Jonathan Paul Johnson, who was known by the deceased, was taken into custody around 3:00 p.m. on homicide charges related to the death. The victim's name is being withheld until the coroner's office can confirm identification, at which time it will be released. Further details will be released as they become available.
