Metro, in cooperation with the cities of South Pasadena, San Marino, Arcadia, Monrovia, Duarte, Irwindale, Azusa, and Los Angeles County, will be hosting the 626 Golden Streets Event this coming Sunday, March 5, 2017.

The event is modeled after other "open streets" or "ciclovia" events and will temporarily close roadways in order to open them up to people to walk, skate, jog, bike, and more, from South Pasadena to Azusa.

The following Road Closures in Arcadia will be in place from about 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 5th:

• Michillinda Avenue, Huntington Drive to Colorado Street
• Colorado Street/Boulevard, Michillinda Avenue to First Avenue
• First Avenue, Colorado Boulevard to Santa Clara Street
• Santa Clara Street, First Avenue to Fifth Avenue
• NO Through Traffic on these roadways

Please note for north-south traffic:

• Santa Anita Avenue will be OPEN for through traffic at Colorado Boulevard
• Second Avenue will be CLOSED to traffic at Santa Clara Street

Please plan accordingly and use alternate routes to avoid the area during the event.
