RT 46 closed in both directions in Mt Lakes due to down wires. Expect heavy traffic delays. Use RT 80 as a detour. 
Rt 46 is closed in both directions in Mountain Lakes due to downed power lines. As a result, Rt 46 eastbound is closed and being detoured at the RT 53 exchange onto RT 53 and then RT 80. Heavy traffic delays are expected. We do not yet have an estimated time for the highway to be reopened.
Additionally, there are power outages in the area and additional traffic signals not functioning. We do not have an estimated time for the power to be restored at this time either.
