Police Blotter February 14th through February 19th

February 14th

Stolen Vehicle - 1400 block of Richmond St:
At 1005 hours, an officer responded to the report of an auto theft recovery. The victim located her vehicle, a 1999 Infiniti i30 at her residence in Oakland and then drove to El Cerrito. It was allegedly stolen by her ex-boyfriend.

Stolen Vehicle - 2000 block of Key Blvd:
At 1030 hours, an officer responded to the report of a stolen white 1998 Acura Integra. It was stolen in between 02/13/17 @ 2030 hours and 02/14/17 @ 0720 hours.

Auto Burglary - 670 EC Plaza:
At 1213 hours, a CSO responded to the report of an auto burglary. In between 1145 – 1200 hours an unidentified suspect broke the window of a Chevrolet Tahoe and stole a purse.

Burglary Tools - S. 56th St. / Mariposa Ave:
At 2223 hours, an officer conducted a traffic stop and contacted three subjects inside. A 23 year old Richmond man and 32 year old San Pablo man, both on probation, were found to be in possession of methamphetamine smoking pipes and pieces of metal altered to defeat vehicle ignitions along with other burglary tools. They were arrested, booked.

Parole Violation / Methamphetamine possession – 11450 San Pablo Ave:
At 2338 hours, an officers were dispatched to Safeway for an intoxicated subject attempting to sell crystal meth. Officers located a 25 years old man nearby. He was found to have an outstanding parole violation warrant. He was also found to be in possession of methamphetamines. He was transported to the MDF.

February 15th

Shoplifting - 11450 San Pablo Ave:
At 0856 hours, an officer was at Safeway conducting follow up to an unrelated shoplifting case when the officer observed a 27 year old Oakland male walking out of Safeway without paying for his miscellaneous food items. He was arrested, booked and released on a citation.

February 17th

Domestic Violence – Blue Moon Saloon, 9937 San Pablo Ave
At 0941 hours, an officer responded to a domestic violence call that occurred the night before. The victim was at the Blue Moon the night before at 2345 hours when her 32 year old ex-boyfriend entered the business and attempted to talk to the victim. When the victim ignored him the ex-boyfriend pulled the victim off a bar stool by her hair.

Stolen Vehicle, 1600 block of Elm Street:
At 2004 hours, an officer reports that (V)’s blue 2001 Subaru Forrester was stolen from in front of the residence. TOO: 2/16/17, 2200 hours - 2/17/17, 1000 hours.

February 18th

Warrant – San Pablo Ave / Schmidt Lane:
At 1208 hours, an officer conducted a pedestrian stop and arrested a 52 year old man from Oakland on a Contra Costa County Warrant. He was field cited.

Warrant – 3090 El Cerrito Plaza:
At 1320 hours, an officer responded to a disturbance and arrested a 32 year old man from Oakland on a Contra Costa County Warrant. He was field cited.

Warrant Arrest – San Pablo Avenue / Potrero Avenue:
At 1958 hours, an officer conducted a traffic stop and arrested a 27 year old male for an outstanding San Bernardino County warrant. He was cited and released.

Warrant Arrest – San Pablo Avenue/Wall Avenue:
At 2134 hours, an officer arrested a 47 year old Richmond male for a CDC Parole warrant. He was sent to the county jail.

Domestic violence, Parking lot of Fairmount Auto Service, 6525 Fairmount Avenue:
At 2259 hours, ECPD officers were dispatched to a report of a female being chased by her ex-boyfriend. Dispatch advised the female was at ECPD in our back lot and was hiding behind a patrol car. Officers arrived on scene and contacted the female, (V), who had visible swelling on her face. (V) stated her boyfriend picked her up at EC Plaza BART and drove to the auto service parking lot. (S) and (V) got into a heated argument which turned physical. (S) began punching (V) in the face and body and threatened to kill her. (S) fled the area prior to police arrival.

Criminal Threats - Safeway, 11450 San Pablo Avenue:
At 2354 hours, ECPD officers responded to a possible brandishing call regarding a male who threatened a security guard with scissors. An officer located the suspect, a 65 year old transient male, at the Del Norte BART station and detained him. Officers learned from the security guard that after she told (S) to leave the store, (S) threatened to stab her, but he did not brandish the scissors. The security guard feared for her safety as she saw a pair of scissors in (S)’s back pocket. He was positively identified by the security guard who signed a Citizen’s Arrest form. He was sent to county jail.

February 19th

Vandalism – 600 block of Everett St:
Sometime over night an unknown suspect broke the window of the victim’s vehicle.

Vandalism – 500 block of Clayton Ave:
Sometime over night an unknown suspect broke the window of the victim’s vehicle.

Vandalism – 6700 block of Stockton Ave:
Sometime over night an unknown suspect broke the window of the victim’s vehicle.

Vandalism – 700 block of Everett St:
Sometime over night an unknown suspect broke the window of the victim’s vehicle.

DUI, Driving while Unlicensed – Portola Dr / San Pablo Ave:
At 1544 hours, an officer conducted a traffic stop and arrested a 32 year old man from Richmond for DUI and for driving while suspended from a previous DUI. He was booked at the ECPD and then released on a citation.
