Investigator Mark Headen is Employee of Month, for the month of March, at the Jackson Police Department. 
The Jackson Police Department is pleased to announce Investigator Mark Headen as Employee of the Month for the month of March. Investigator Headen, an eight year employee of the Jackson Police Department, is currently assigned to the Criminal Investigation Division were he oversees the sex offender registry.
Even though Investigator Headen has a confident but laid back personality, he obtains positive results because of his efficiency. He gets the job done. Investigator Headen is passionate about his assignment. He was instrumental in getting new case law passed which created severe penalties for sex offenders.
Investigator Headen is also assigned to the United States Marshal’s Task Force. He has been and continues to be directly involved in the apprehension of the worst criminal offenders in Jackson and West Tennessee. In January, this task force arrested forty-two people and cleared 111 warrants. Twenty-eight of the 111 warrants were for attempted murder.
Investigator Headen has a lovely wife who supports his endeavors. Investigator Headen loves hunting, fishing, and cooking. He has been known to make great guacamole dips.
