...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM NOON TODAY TO 10 PM EST THIS EVENING... The National Weather Service in Detroit/Pontiac has issued a Wind Advisory, which is in effect from noon today to 10 PM EST this evening. HAZARDOUS WEATHER...

* A strong cold front will move through the region during early afternoon. Wind will then shift to the west and increase to gusts around 45 mph.

* The strong wind gusts will last through the afternoon and diminish toward mid evening. IMPACTS...

* Downed tree limbs and localized power outages will be possible.

* Hazardous driving conditions, especially for high profile vehicles.

* AFFECTED AREAS: LENAWEE ... LIVINGSTON ... MACOMB ... MONROE ... OAKLAND ... ST. CLAIR ... WASHTENAW ... WAYNE
