0600 Hours: Officer Fredstrom investigated the theft of a blue 1992 Ford Escort (CA license #2ZKX314) on the 37000 block of Sycamore Street.

0731 Hours: Officer Allum investigated a minor injury auto collision on Newark Boulevard at Civic Terrace. The injured party was treated at the scene.

0932 Hours: Officers contacted and arrested a 37 year old transient male for parole violation at the old Orchard Supply, 5655 Jarvis Avenue. The suspect was booked into the Santa Rita Jail.

1251 Hours: Officer Knutson responded to the 7600 block of Thornton Avenue on a suspicious vehicle call. Officer Knutson contacted and arrested a 37 year old Fremont male for his outstanding warrant. The suspect was booked into the Fremont Jail.

1900 Hours: Officer Norvell recovered a stolen 2017 Toyota RAV4 in the Sears, NewPark Mall parking lot while investigating a theft from Sears. The stolen merchandise was located in the vehicle and returned to the store. The vehicle was released to the registered owner. The suspects in the theft were not located.
