(Etowah County, Alabama) A Boaz man has been arrested in connection to theft of property, according to Sheriff Todd Entrekin.

“Michael Edsel Saint, 46, of Boaz, is charged with one count of third degree theft of property, which is a felony,” investigator Adam Chapman said.

Saint allegedly stole a black trailer, loaded with wood flooring, and gave it to someone else in an attempt to pay off a debt that he owed. The trailer was recovered by the Boaz Police Department and returned to the rightful owner.

Saint is being detained in the Etowah County Detention Center on $1,500 bond.
