Mardi Gras 5K" on February 28th - Road Closures begin @ 3:00 PM on Elm St and 6:50 PM for Canal St 
The Manchester Police Department would like to advise you that the "Mardi Gras 5K" will be held on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 on Elm St and Canal St. The race will begin at 7:00 PM and will require the following road closures;
Beginning at 3:00 PM
- Elm St will be closed from Amherst St to Concord St
Beginning at 6:50 PM
- Canal St / River Rd will be closed from Thayer St to Granite St
- Webster St between Elm St and River Rd will be closed
- North St between Elm St and River Rd will be closed
- The right-hand south bound lane of Elm St from Webster St to North St will be closed. South bound traffic will be reduced to one lane only for this area.
- East bound traffic on the Amoskeag Bridge will not be allowed to exit to Canal St
