Flood Warning until 10:44PM Saturday
The National Weather Service in San Diego has issued a
* Flood Warning for... San Bernardino County in southern California... Riverside County in southern California...
* Until 715 AM PST Saturday
* At 1010 PM PST, Doppler radar indicated rain continuing across areas that have experienced flooding, especially through the Cajon Pass and into the high deserts. Rain runoff will flow down the slopes and into the Mojave and down the coastal mountain slopes as well with water flow rising along the Santa Ana River, though that river is not forecast to go above flood stage. Still, some roads will continue flooded overnight given the expectation of light rain continuing with an additional half an inch expected, except lighter amounts across the high deserts.
* Some locations that will likely experience flooding include... Riverside, San Bernardino, Fontana, Ontario, Corona, Victorville, Rialto, Hesperia, Chino, Apple Valley, I-15 Through The Cajon Pass, Hwy 2 Between Phelan And Wrightwood, I-15 Between Victorville And Barstow and Lucerne Valley.
* AFFECTED AREAS: RIVERSIDE ... SAN BERNARDINO
Instructions:
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
