Possession of Child Porn Arrests 
(Etowah County, Alabama) Two local men have been arrested in connection to possession of child pornography, according to Sheriff Todd Entrekin.
“Nathaniel Lee Whisenant, 32, of Gadsden, and Zachary Tyler McElroy, 19, of Attalla, are each charged with one count of possession of child pornography, which is a felony,” investigator Randal Gilliland said.
Information about the two suspects was received through the National Exploited Children Information Center and ALEA’s Internet Crimes Against Children Unit (ICAC).
Search warrants were obtained for residences located on South Burns Street, Gadsden, and Case Avenue, Attalla. Several computers and cellular phones were taken as evidence.
Both Whisenant and McElroy were booked into the Etowah County Detention Center on $25,000 cash bond each.
