Tuesday February 7
 
Aggravated Assault & Resisting Arrest – 100 Blk. E. El Camino
Time:  2247
Officers responded on a report of a subject physically attacking a customer in a grocery store.  The suspect attacked the victim by chocking him around the neck.  Another customer intervened by spraying the suspect with pepper spray.  The suspect left the store on foot.  When contacted by officers in the area, the suspect physically resisted officers when being taken into custody.  The suspect was booked into County Jail.
 
Wednesday February 8
 
Residential Burglary – 800 Blk. S. Wolfe
Time:  2/7 0100 – 2/8 1800
An unknown suspect entered the residence by breaking out a window on the side of the residence and stole a coin collection.
 
Friday February 10
 
Outside Assist – 900 Blk. W. Homestead
Time:  0142
CHP was investigation a hit-and-run collision that occurred on Highway 85.  The suspect was located in the 900 Blk. W. Homestead.  The suspect resisted efforts by CHP and DPS to take him into custody.  It was determined the suspect was also DUI.  CHP took custody of the suspect and booked him into County Jail.
 
Commercial Burglary – 900 Blk. E. Arques
Time:  0510 – 0520
An unknown suspect entered the business by prying the lock to the front door and stole designer eye glass frames.
 
Residential Burglary – 900 Blk. S. Bernardo
Time:  0950 – 1650
An unknown suspect entered the residence by breaking out a rear sliding glass door and stealing jewelry, checks, and a coin collection.
 
Residential Burglary – 500 Blk. Bobolink Cir.
Time:  1058 – 1510
Unknown suspects entered the residence via a bathroom window and stole jewelry, laptops, a TV, and a bicycle.
 
Haz Mat – 1200 Blk. Lakeside
Time:  2037
DPS personnel responded on a Haz Mat incident in which mercury was spilled at a commercial location.  DPS personnel contained and collected the substance and there were no reported exposures or injuries. 
 
Saturday February 11
 
Gas Investigation – 500 Blk. E. Remington
Time:  0919
DPS personnel responded on a report of a gas leak at the Community Center Theater.  Upon arrival, it was determined there was a gas leak and evacuated the theater and ventilated the building. PG&E responded and repaired the leak.  Patrons were allowed back into the building after it was deemed safe to enter.
 
Sunday February 12
 
Attempted Residential Burglary – 700 Blk. Grape
Time:  0400
An unknown suspect attempted to force open a door leading to the garage of the residence.  The suspect did not make entry and was possibly scared away by the resident checking on the sound of the door being forced.
 
Commercial Burglary – 1000 Blk. Kifer
Time:  1251
An officer on patrol interrupted a burglary in-progress at a building that was under construction.  The suspect fled on foot and was not apprehended.  The suspect was associated with a vehicle that was reported stolen out of San Mateo County.  Update:  On 2/13, the suspect was located and arrested in Santa Clara.  The suspect was booked into County Jail.
 
Weapons Violation – 600 Blk. N. Fair Oaks
Time:  1614
Officers responded on a report of a gang fight in the area.  A witness reported seeing an occupant of an involved vehicle display a handgun during the altercation.  The investigation is continuing.
