The Thousand Oaks Police Department will be offering the Citizen Academy course at the Thousand Oaks Police Station beginning in April, 2017. This 12-week course is designed to inform residents of the Conejo Valley about the many facets of your law enforcement team. Applications are now being accepted.
 
There is no cost to attend the program.  Citizens enrolled in the program can expect sessions to be scheduled every Wednesday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.  The sessions begin April 5th and conclude June 21st. The sessions are presented by experienced Department staff from the various disciplines of policing. Field trips to the Jail, Communications Center and the Training Academy are scheduled as part of this interesting and informative program.
