LAST UPDATE FOR SNOW STORM– 6 Inches of snow fell, roadways are improving, watch for refreeze tonight
The snow has come to an end and road conditions have improved in the past few hours thanks to the plow crews. Most major roadways are down to blacktop. A total of 6 inches of snow fell in South Brunswick Thursday morning. There were 11 motor vehicle crashes and 12 vehicles became disabled during the storm.
A caution for the overnight hours is for bitter cold and refreezing of roadways. Motorist should reduce speed and leave extra time for their travel.
