11AM UPDATE -SNOW SLOWING, ROADS SLIPPERY, NUMEROUS VEHICLES GETTING STUCK

11AM SNOW SLOWING, ROADS SLIPPERY, NUMEROUS VEHICLES GETTING STUCK 

The snow is starting to slow down but roads remain hazardous. Police have handled a dozen disabled vehicles that were either stuck in the snow or sliding off the roadway. Limit all travel for next three hours to allow plow crews to work.

 

TRAFFIC CONDITIONS

Ten crashes have been reported this morning during the storm. None with any serious injuries.

A dozen vehicles have become disabled,

Problem roadways include;

Major Road

Route 522 at Route 1

Route 535 (Cranbury-South River Road)

Route 27 near Promenade Boulevard.

Municipal, County and State plow crews are working to clear the road
