Road Closure at IL 242 and the rail crossing. 
Illinois Department of Transportation announces that on Wednesday, February 15, 2017, beginning at 7:00 a.m., an Evansville Western Railroad Work Crew will be making repairs to the Railroad Crossing on IL 242 (N. Washington St.) north of IL 14 in McLeansboro. The repairs are expected to be completed by 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 16, 2017.
Motorist are encouraged to use the marked detour as no traffic will be permitted through the work zone for the duration of the repair.
