Burglary/Theft Arrest
(Etowah County, Alabama) A Gadsden man has been arrested in connection to a recent burglary, according to Sheriff Todd Entrekin.
“Brad Preston Blakely, 24, of Gadsden, is charged with one count of third degree burglary and one count of second degree theft of property, both are felonies,” investigator Adam Chapman said.
Blakely allegedly broke into a residence on Horton Gap Road and stole several items including: a Sanyo flat screen television, DVD player, purse, jewelry, clothing, shoes and tools. All of the items have been recovered.
He is being detained in the Etowah County Detention Center on $5,000 bond for the burglary and theft charges. Blakely also faces a non-support warrant.
