Search Warrants Served and Arrests Made in Shooting Incident
On Thursday, January 26, 2017, at about 3:30 p.m., Fairfield Police dispatch received a call of a disturbance and a person shooting from a vehicle in the area of North Texas Street at Air Base Parkway. Officers immediately responded to the area but were unable to locate any victims or suspects. At about 4:19 p.m. a juvenile victim called and reported he was struck by a bullet fragment during the earlier shooting and had suffered minor injuries. Our Youth Services Unit worked in partnership with our Patrol and Investigations Bureaus to investigate this case.
On Thursday, February 2, 2017, at about 11:00 a.m., the Fairfield Police Department’s Investigations Bureau served two search warrants in this case. One in the 1600 block of Centennial Drive and one on Travion Court. Two male juvenile Fairfield residents were located and arrested in this case. Both suspects were charged with Attempted Murder and booked into the Solano County Juvenile Hall.
