SUMMARY: On February 1, 2017, Deputy Jeff Dieckhoff from the Morongo Basin Station developed information that property stolen during several recent burglaries was located on a vacant piece of property in a remote area of Joshua Tree. Deputies and Detectives from the Morongo Basin Station located the site and identified about $20,000 worth of property that was positively identified and recovered which included a car trailer, tools and industrial shop equipment.
