...PERIODS OF SNOW WILL CONTINUE INTO THIS EVENING... .A MOIST NORTHWEST FLOW AND ASSOCIATED UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE WILL BRING PERIODS OF SNOWFALL...MODERATE TO HEAVY AT TIMES THROUGH THURSDAY EVENING. ...WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 PM MST THIS EVENING... THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN RIVERTON HAS ISSUED A WINTER STORM WARNING FOR SNOW...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 PM MST THIS EVENING. THE WINTER STORM WATCH IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT.

* TIMING...PERIODS OF LIGHT TO OCCASIONALLY MODERATE SNOW BECOME HEAVY AT TIMES THIS MORNING AND AFTERNOON BEFORE TAPERING OFF LATER TONIGHT.

* SNOWFALL TOTALS...8 TO 14 INCHES.

* MAIN IMPACT...ROADS AND HIGHWAYS WILL BE SLICK AND SNOW PACKED AND TRAVEL COULD BE DIFFICULT AT TIMES.

* AFFECTED AREAS: TETON AND GROS VENTRE MOUNTAINS
