At approximately 2 PM on Monday 1/23/17, Signal Hill police officers responded to a single vehicle traffic collision in the area of E. Willow Street and Orange Avenue.  The vehicle struck a power pole which caused a brief power outage.  Southern California Edison responded and were quickly able to re-route and restore power.  Southern California Edison is still on scene working on the down power pole.  To facilitate the repair, the roadway of Orange Avenue is closed from E. Willow Street to E. 28th Street.  Please avoid this area until the repairs are completed.
