Crime Information and Public Safety Report for Castaic / Val Verde (Zone 2): January 9 -15, 2017.                  

1/11/17
Commercial Burglary- 31000 block of Castaic Road           
The glass front doors and windows were shattered at a business. Several pieces of furniture were also vandalized inside the business.  The crime occurred in the early morning hours. 
  
1/15/17
Petty Theft- 29000 block of Hancock Parkway     
The business reported a section of copper pipe was stolen from the outside water supply valve to their building. The crime occurred in the early morning hours.     
      
Please remember to never leave valuables in plain view in your vehicle, close and lock your doors.  Minimize your risk and avoid being the victim of a crime of opportunity.  If you see any suspicious activity, or have information related to a crime, please call the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station at (661) 255-1121 or 9-1-1 in an emergency.
