Diablo Rd to Close for Flood Prevention 
With the ongoing rain and even more expected this weekend, Town of Danville Maintenance staff will be on Diablo Road this afternoon (Friday January 20, 2017) placing sandbags along the roadway for flood prevention.
The road will be temporarily closed from 1:15pm - 1:45 pm while the crews put down the sandbags. Maintenance will monitor the area over the weekend in the event of heavy rains, as well.
Motorists please use caution through the area and expect delays during the closure.
