Minor flooding concerns for Vermilion County. County rivers continue to rise from recent heavy rains. 
Due to the recent heavy rainfall the county received yesterday and today, area rivers have received a fair amount of runoff and are rising accordingly. As of 0945 this morning the river levels were as follows:
Middlefork River : 6.21'
Vermilion River 11.08'
North Fork River 10.03'
While no significant flooding is expected in the county, low-lying areas and roadways may become covered with water. If you live near a flood-prone area, pay close attention to water levels during the day and into the weekend. As always -- NEVER DRIVE INTO WATER COVERED ROADWAYS.
