Just before noon on Thursday, January 19th, Lomita Station received a 9-1-1 call of a burglary that just occurred from the 5600 Whitecliff Drive in Rancho Palos Verdes. The witness was able to get the make, model, color, and even license plate of the vehicle. He was also extremely calm and cooperative on the 9-1-1 line, allowing dispatch personnel to obtain necessary suspect information in a short period of time.

Responding deputies spotted the vehicle and watched as it drove into a residential neighborhood on Hitching Post Drive. Deputies detained the occupants of the vehicle and they were positively identified as the burglary suspects. The suspects were subsequently arrested for residential burglary and are now guests of Lomita Station's jail.
