On 01/13/2017, KCSO Deputies assigned to EASET (East Area Special Enforcement Team) conducted a warrant sweep in the towns of Mojave, Boron, Rosamond, and California City. Deputies visited 19 locations, which resulted in the arrest of 10 people. During the operation, one firearm was recovered as was a stolen U-haul trailer.
EASET is a unit comprised of deputies from the Rosamond, Mojave/Boron, and Tehachapi substations.
The following suspects were arrested during the operation:
Richard Clifford Kluth (48 years old) of California City was arrested for an active arrest warrant, felon in possession of a firearm, and for possession of narcotic paraphernalia.
David Frank Quinn (48 years old) of California City was arrested for two active arrest warrants.
Erinne Michelle Ferrell (49 years old) of California City was arrested for two active arrest warrants.
Edmund Hermosillo (53 years old) of California City was arrested for three active arrest warrants.
Romie Garland Seals (36 years old) of Rosamond was arrested for an active arrest warrant, possession of a controlled substance, under the influence of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Alberto Emilo Contreras (48 years old) of Boron was arrested for an active felony arrest warrant.
Michael Thomas Nelson (21 years old) of Boron was arrested for an active arrest warrant and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Alice Ann Broitzman (35 years old) of Boron was arrested for an active arrest warrant.
Manuel Cervantes (67 years old) of Boron was arrested for in possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
James Michael Sforza (52 years old) of Mojave was arrested for possession of a stolen trailer and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Ronald James Lininger (46 years old) of Boron was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
