SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS AND SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

THERE IS A CHANCE FOR LIGHT FREEZING RAIN DEVELOPING VERY LATE

TONIGHT OVER FAR SOUTHEAST KANSAS. ACCUMULATIONS SHOULD BE

LIGHT...HOWEVER SOME SLICK SPOTS ON BRIDGES AND OVERPASSES ARE

POSSIBLE BY DAYBREAK.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY

A WINTER STORM WILL AFFECT THE ENTIRE AREA BETWEEN FRIDAY AND

MONDAY. THE MOST SIGNIFICANT FREEZING RAIN IS EXPECTED ROUGHLY

NORTH OF A LINE FROM HARPER TO ELDORADO TO YATES CENTER BETWEEN

SATURDAY AND SUNDAY. ICE ACCUMULATIONS GREATER THAN A HALF INCH

ARE PROBABLE AND UP TO AN INCH POSSIBLE. CHECK THE LATEST WINTER

THROUGH SUNDAY AFTERNOON...

* TIMING...FREEZING DRIZZLE OR LIGHT FREEZING RAIN MAY DEVELOP

DURING THE EARLY MORNING HOURS ON FRIDAY. PERIODIC ROUNDS OF

FREEZING RAIN WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THE WEEKEND BEFORE MIXING

OR CHANGING TO RAIN ON SUNDAY.

* ICE ACCUMULATION...A QUARTER TO HALF INCH IS FORECAST. HOWEVER

HIGHER AMOUNTS ARE POSSIBLE IF TEMPERATURES ARE JUST SLIGHTLY
