HCSO Child Abuse Unit Seeking Information In Attempted Abduction.

Harris County Sheriff’s Office Child Abuse Unit investigators are seeking information on the suspect(s) involved in an attempted abduction of an 11-year old Hispanic boy, in a neighborhood located near Hill Intermediate School, in North Harris County, Texas.

On Friday, January 6, 2017, at about 8:00 a.m. the 11-year old boy was walking to school at Hill Intermediate School, and was walking along Star Peak Drive in north Harris County.

While walking, the boy was approached by a white in color “work van” occupied by three unknown, adult Hispanic males. The van was said to have been a Chevrolet or GMC.

The van approached the boy and one of the unknown males yelled in Spanish to the boy “Don’t Run!” When the boy turned to look, he saw one of the unknown males in the van holding large pole “fishing net”.

The unknown Hispanic males occupying the van were said to be in their 20s. The boy was able to flee without being harmed or abducted. Surveillance video captured several images of the Suspect vehicle as it drove through the area during the incident.
