2017 Scottish Highland Games - January 14 & 15, 2017

The 2017 Scottish Highland Games will be held at Central Winds Park, Winter Springs, Florida on Saturday, January 14, 2017 & Sunday, January 15, 2017. Central Winds Park is located at 1000 East State Road 434, Winter Springs, Florida. The event runs from 8:00 am – 9:00 pm on Saturday & 8:45 am - 5:00 pm on Sunday.

Access to Central Winds Park & the Dog Park will be limited to the Scottish Highland Games only and all park facilities (playgrounds, fields, pavilions & Dog Park) will be closed, including the gate on Orange Avenue. Residents on Orange Avenue and North Tuskawilla Road will have to exit onto 434 by using Michael Blake Blvd or North Tuskawilla Road.

Parking for the event will be at the park itself, the dog park, Choices in Learning, and Winter Springs High School. All are accessible from the intersection of State Road 434 & Central Winds Drive. On-site parking fills very quickly. If you are arriving after 11:00 am, you will save time and aggravation by using the free satellite parking.

Satellite parking lots with free shuttle buses are located at:
  • Winter Springs Elementary School, 701 West State Road 434, Winter Springs, Florida
  • Metro Church, 1491 East State Road 434, Winter Springs, Florida
  • Keeth Elementary School, 425 Tuskawilla Road, Winter Springs, Florida (shuttle pick up at the middle school next door)
  • Indian Trails Middle School, 415 Tuskawilla Road, Winter Springs Florida
The shuttle buses will run from 8:00 am to 9:30 pm on Saturday and 9:00 am to 6:00 pm Sunday. Go to www.flascot.com for more details.

Traffic and parking in the area will be greatly impacted. Motorists in the immediate area should expect lengthy delays and heavy congestion during peak hours. Traffic on Tuskawilla Road, State Road 434, State Road 417 and parking in the Town Center area will be affected.
