THE FOLLOWING MESSAGE IS TRANSMITTED AT THE REQUEST OF THE BRIDGER-TETON NATIONAL FOREST AVALANCHE CENTER. THE FOREST SERVICE BRIDGER TETON AVALANCHE CENTER IN JACKSON WILL EXPIRE A BACKCOUNTRY AVALANCHE WARNING AT 9 PM THIS EVENING. AFFECTED AREA... THE AVALANCHE WARNING ISSUED BY THE BRIDGER-TETON NATIONAL FOREST AVALANCHE CENTER FOR AREAS OF SOUTHEAST IDAHO AND WESTERN WYOMING WILL BE ALLOWED TO EXPIRE AT 9PM. AVALANCHE DANGER...THE AVALANCHE HAZARD IS EXPECTED TO DECREASE TO CONSIDERABLE. REASONS/IMPACTS...DANGEROUS CONDITIONS WILL PERSIST IN THE MOUNTAINS AND POSE A SIGNIFICANT RISK TO BACKCOUNTRY USERS.
