Suspect in Custody for Berkeley's First Homicide of 2017 
On 1/7/2016 at approximately 1:30pm, the Berkeley Police Department Watch Commander received a call from Burbank Police Department Officers informing him that Pablo Gomez Jr. 24, of North Hollywood, was now in their custody. Gomez was wanted in connection with a homicide and stabbing which occurred on 1/6/2016 in Berkeley. The homicide victim in this case has yet to be identified and there are no further details available at this time.
