December 26th
Identity Theft- 1100 Block of King Dr:
At 1020 hours, a Community Service Officer reported on 12/8/16, an unknown suspect used the victim’s debit/credit card at an unknown location in San Mateo.
Identity Theft-1300 Block of Everett St:
At 1608 hours, A Community Service Officer reported an unknown suspect used the victim’s credit card information at two locations in Vallejo.
Possession of Controlled Substance - 10650 San Pablo Avenue:
At 1851 hours, an office conducted a pedestrian stop and subsequently arrested a 46 year old male from San Pablo after he was found to be in possession of methamphetamine. The man was booked and cited.
December 27th
Warrant Arrest-11450 San Pablo Ave:
At 0535 hours, officers responded to Safeway for an unwanted subject. The 25 year old male transient was contacted and arrested for an outstanding warrant. He was booked at the El Cerrito Police station and transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.
Warrant Arrest- 1000 El Cerrito Plaza:
At 0759 hours, officers were dispatched to Lucky for an unwanted subject. The 33 year old male was contacted and was arrested for an outstanding warrant. The male was cited in the field and released.
Warrant Arrest- 11450 San Pablo Ave:
At 1027 hours, an officer recognized a 45 year old male from Emeryville in the parking lot of Safeway and knew he had an outstanding warrant. The male ran into Safeway and out the back door of the business. He was eventually located on Kearney Ave. just south of Blake Ave. The male was booked at the El Cerrito Police station and transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.
Attempt Burglary-2200 Block of Carquinez Ave:
An officer reported an unknown suspect attempted to gain entry to the victim’s residence by prying a rear glass sliding door. The incident occurred in between 12/17@0600-12/25@1300 hours.
Recovered Stolen Vehicle- S.53rd / Cypress Ave:
At 1608 hours, an officer located the victim’s 1998 Honda Accord. The vehicle was reported stolen to Oakley PD on 12/21/16.
Vandalism – Moeser Ln. / San Pablo Ave:
An officer accepted the citizen’s arrest of a 29 year old male from Richmond after he broke his ex-girlfriend’s windshield during an argument. Cite released.
DUI, Collision – Richmond St. / Eureka Ave:
An officer reports that 35 year old male from San Diego collided with a parked vehicle on the opposite side of the street. Investigation revealed that the man was under the influence. The man was arrested and later released with a citation.
Burglary, Auto Theft – 2100 block of Harper St:
An officer reports that an unknown suspect entered the victim’s house by prying open the rear door. Once inside, the suspect(s) stole a 19 inch television and the victim’s 2004 Toyota Solara. The vehicle was later located and recovered in North Richmond.
DUI – Carlson Blvd. / Lassen St:
Officers were dispatched to the area after a passerby saw a female slumped over in a vehicle. Officers contacted a 31 year old Albany woman and found that she was extremely intoxicated. The woman was arrested and later released on a citation.
December 28th
Residential Burglary- 1600 Block of Liberty St:
An officer reported an unknown suspect entered the victim’s residence via an unlock back door and stole property. The suspect stole a computer and jewelry. The burglary occurred in between 1042 and 1045 hours.
Shoplifting/Warrant Arrest-11565 San Pablo Ave:
An officer was flagged down in regards to a theft that had just occurred at Walgreens. Officers circulated the area and located two possible suspects at the Del Norte BART station. During the investigation, the suspects admitted their involvement and were found to be in possession of the stolen property. The witness declined to participate in an infield show-up. Officers conducted a record check on both suspects. The 24 year old female suspect from Oakland had an outstanding warrant. The sixteen year old female suspect from Oakland had two outstanding warrants and was reported as a missing person. Both suspects were transported to the El Cerrito Police station for booking. After booking, the 24 year old female was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility. The 16 year old female was transported to Juvenile Hall. The shoplifting report will be forwarded to the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office for review.
Auto Burglary – 1600 block of Lexington Ave:
An officer reports that an unknown suspect shattered the victim’s vehicle window and stole a flashlight. TOO: 12/27/16 2000 to 12/28/16 0900.
December 29th
El Cerrito Municipal Code Violation – 11382 San Pablo Ave:
Officers were dispatched to Atlas Liquors after a customer saw three juveniles soliciting customers for alcohol. Also, the customer stated that one of the juveniles was in possession of a firearm. Officers arrived and contacted the group, two of which had airsoft guns tucked into their waistband.The guns were confiscated and the children were released to parents.
Auto Burglary – 8000 EC Plaza:
A CSO reports that an unknown suspect smashed the passenger window of the victim’s vehicle and stole a black backpack with clothing and personal items. TOO: 1800-2100 hours.
Grand Theft – 1100 block of Richmond St:
A CSO reports that a friend of the victim stayed at the victim’s house for a couple weeks. Sometime during their stay, the friend stole $3900 worth of the victim’s property.
Robbery – 11450 San Pablo Ave:
Officers were dispatched to the business after a 43 year old homeless man fought with security while trying to leave with stolen merchandise. The man was arrested and transported to the County jail.
