Santa Cruz County is expected to experience severe winds and excessive rainfall for the next 2 - 3 days. Flooding in low lying areas is possible. Heavy rains may cause mudslides on hillsides. Strong winds can damage homes, trees and power lines. Rain may also cause hazardous driving conditions.
