12/23/16 WTPD arrested Vanilla Santiago, age 22, of Washington, NJ for theft. On 12/23/16 at approximately 9:10 AM, patrol responded to a reported theft at Quick Chek, 350 Rte. 57 W. in Washington Township. Upon the officer’s arrival and subsequent investigation, it was revealed that Ms. Santiago, an employee, was responsible for a theft of approximately $500.00 in cash from the store’s register. Ms. Santiago was processed and released with a mandatory court date.

12/24/16 WTPD arrested Justin Mason, age 29, of Irasburg, VT for a local ordinance of maintaining a nuisance. On 12/24/15 at approximately 2:03 AM, an officer on patrol in the 100 block of W. Washington Ave in Washington Borough, observed Mr. Mason, urinating on the side of a building. The officer charged Mr. Mason with a local ordinance of maintaining a nuisance. He was processed and released with a court date.

12/25/16 WTPD arrested Paul Hanuszak Jr., age 35, of Washington, NJ for simple assault. Mr. Hanuszak was processed and lodged in the WC Jail in lieu of $1000.00 bail.

12/25/16 WTPD arrested Robert Wood, age 36, of Washington, NJ for a $750.00 outstanding warrant out of Phillipsburg. Mr. Wood was processed and released with a new court date.

12/26/16 WTPD arrested Nicholas Ferraro, age 24, of Washington, NJ for simple assault. On 12/26/16 at approximately 2:16 AM, patrol was dispatched to a dispute at Philbert’s Pub 101 W. Washington Ave in Washington Borough. Upon the officer’s arrival and subsequent investigation, Mr. Ferraro was charged with simple assault. He was processed and released with a mandatory court date.

12/28/16 WTPD arrested David Simmons Jr., age 34, of Washington, NJ for a $500.00 outstanding warrant out of Newark. Mr. Simmons was processed and released with a new court date.
