Vehicle vs. Motorcyclist Collision 
On December 31st at approximately 3:33 PM, the San Luis Obispo Police and Fire Department
personnel responded to the report of a vehicle vs. motorcyclist collision at Broad and
Lawrence. When first responder personnel arrived they found an unconscious and
unresponsive 24-year-old male lying near the motorcycle. First responders immediately began
providing medical assistance to the motorcyclist and transported him to a local hospital with
severe injuries. At this time neither driver’s identity is being released as this is an ongoing
investigation. It is unknown if alcohol and drugs are a factor.
San Luis Obispo Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed this incident to contact
the Police Department.
