Every New Year’s Eve, the are those throughout Los Angeles county who choose to celebrate by firing guns in the air jeopardizing the community because we all know what goes up will come down. Remember that California Penal Code Section 246.3 prohibits negligent discharging of firearms. Any person who violates Section 246.3 will have their firearm confiscated and will be arrested for a felony crime. If you Hear or witness any gunfire you are encouraged to call 9-1-1.
