On December 18, 2016, at approximately 8:53am, officers from the Menlo Park Police Department conducted a traffic enforcement stop of a vehicle in the 200 block of O’Keefe Street in Menlo Park. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Antonio Gonzalez, 26 year old male out of East Palo Alto.
During the course of the traffic stop, officers located numerous items of stolen property. The property included items stolen in a commercial burglary and in a vehicle theft which both occurred in Ladera. Stolen items from two additional victims were also recovered from the vehicle. Those items belonged to two victims of theft in Palo Alto.
Gonzalez was arrested and booked into the county jail for possession of stolen property, committing a felony while on bail, possession of narcotics paraphernalia, and driving with a suspended driver’s license.
